About Us
A warm welcome to you from the Sandy, Utah Music Teacher’s Association. I hope you take a few minutes to peruse our website and see what we have to offer. We welcome new music teachers to the area and welcome back past members who are able to return to our professional organization.
The Sandy Chapter objectives are:
Promote professionalism in teaching
Advance the art of music
Continue the education of pedagogy
Encourage National Certification of private music teachers.

The Sandy Chapter meets monthly, September through May at Riverton Music, 9491 South 255 West, in Sandy Utah.
Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month from 9:30 until 11:30.
We begin our meeting with our “Teachers Take Note,” a practical presentation/discussion time from 9:30 – 10am. A short business meeting takes place from 10:00 – 10:15 and guest presentation from 10:15 – 11:30.
